Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went to our grandma Joyce's house (Shawn's mom) with one of Shawn's sisters, Lori and her kids Sarah, Aaron and Isaac we had cold cuts and opened presents from Grandma and enjoyed each others company.

We ended the night with putting out cookies for Santa Clause and righting letters to him.

Smith Family Christmas Party

Monday was grandma and grandpa kits (Jill's parents) annual family Christmas party. We all get together and have dinner than a very special visitor comes.......Santa Clause! He gives all the kids a present and this year was no exception.

Adam could absolutely not wait for Santa to come. He had spent all week watching "Barney's night before Christmas" episode that when we told him Santa was coming he was very happy.

When Santa came in all of the children gathered a round to sing Rudolf the red nose reindeer and wear Santa's glowing blinking Rudolf nose.

Adam of course hoped on Santa's lap when his name was called. Santa gave Adam a train set.

Marissa got an "Cullen" sweatshirt (from Twilight the main characters name is Edward Cullen)

Wyatt got a protein shake mix....He loved it

For family photos for our Christmas card we went up the canyon and Jill set the camera on the tripod with the timer on and ran back and forth thousands times till we finally got one decent photo. I thought i might post our oh so glamorous photo shoot.

The Polar Express

Jill, Olivia, Marissa, Audrey and Jill's good friend LaWane and her daughter Nicole went on a magical journey to the north pole on the polar Express!!!!! All Aboard!

MARRY CHRISTMAS

Family, Guests and more Family

This past week we had two guests at our home. Sally and Edwin, two Kenyans (Edwin is Sally’s dad). They have been traveling with a music group help rasie awarness about thier orphanage. We hosted them at our home and it was so much fun. Olivia and Audrey absolutly adorde Sally and they had lots of fun playing together. We saw them perform were they were fantastic!

Also Shawn’s sister Lisa came to vist from New York with her daughter Catlin (16). Later that week Shawn’s other sister, Robyn from California with her two sons, Ryan (16) and Steven (21) came down. Her other son, Austin and his wife, Rachel came down later that week from BYU. One night we went up the canyon to eat Subway sandwiches and roast marshmallows.
