Olivia and Audrey's first day of school

Olivia and Audrey started their first day of school today at Wasatch Peak Academy. Wyatt and Marissa still have one more week off until they start. (Wasatch starts earlier so they can see how many spots they have open for new kids to come, beefore the public schools start)

Olivia went into 3rd grade and her teacher’s name is Mrs. Turk. Olivia was really excited

Audrey started Kindergarten. She was so excited. When we took her into her class room she just sat down at her desk next to all the crying kids that didn’t want to be away from home. And Audrey said “Okay mom you can go.” Can you believe that! She was such a brave girl.

Family, Guests and more Family

This past week we had two guests at our home. Sally and Edwin, two Kenyans (Edwin is Sally’s dad). They have been traveling with a music group help rasie awarness about thier orphanage. We hosted them at our home and it was so much fun. Olivia and Audrey absolutly adorde Sally and they had lots of fun playing together. We saw them perform were they were fantastic!

Also Shawn’s sister Lisa came to vist from New York with her daughter Catlin (16). Later that week Shawn’s other sister, Robyn from California with her two sons, Ryan (16) and Steven (21) came down. Her other son, Austin and his wife, Rachel came down later that week from BYU. One night we went up the canyon to eat Subway sandwiches and roast marshmallows.

Audrey's Birthday!

On Audrey’s 5th birthday. She insisted she had a "pony party" Jill called and got Audrey a pony. She invited all her friends from the neighborhood and played games like "find the candy in the haystack" and musical chairs. The kids had a lot of fun Audrey about to open her presents

That evening Shawn and Jill took Audrey to Build A Bear because that is what she wanted for her present. She picked a bunny (not a bear) and dressed it in a pink outfit. It was cute

After going to Build A Bear we went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Audrey loved it and the she got a ice cream Sunday
