FOOTBALL SEASON!

Hello Everyone! It has been a while, but we have new information for everyone. Football is here again and I, Wyatt, am starting varsity for Bountiful high at the strongside guard spot. Shortly, Shawn should have tapes up of some of my games.

Our first game was against #14 Lone Peak, a team that is 5A, compared to our 4A. That means that they have roughly 1,000 students more than us. Lone Peak was favored, however due to a stifling pass defense by our team and the power-I offense we run (the last team in the state to not switch to the spread.) we beat Lone Peak 30-9.

The second game was aginst #25 Spanish Fork, another 5A team. We were ranked 9th when we played Spanish, another team that runs a spread offense. This time, we scored fast on a power running game. We also had a kick return for a touchdown by our 4.3 fourty guy, TJ Farr. This was the first home game for us, and we won 35-7.

The third game we went in ranked 6th to play 4A Logan, the weakest of the first three teams. We prepared all week, and we were poised to deliver a drubbing. We opened up with a kickoff return for a TD, and it was all history after that. it was 30-0 at the half, and 40-0 six minutes into the third quarter and the starters were all pulled. The final score was 40-7.

Our next game is this friday at Larry Wall Stadium in Bountiful against the Tooele Buffaloes. It is also homecoming. We are ranked #1 right now, both a privelage and a burden for us. We hope to continue a fantastic season thus far. More to come.

Prom

Wyatt recently went to Bontiful High Schools prom were he took Ashley Kanube, a girl who he went to Jr. High with, or as Audrey would tell you, "the girl who broke our teeter tater. I am sure Wyatt would like to write somthing more at a few more picture, from his day acctivity (which jill did an awsome day planing!)

Olivia's Cheer leading took us to the "Jamfest" a big meet you have to qualify for. We drove down their and had lots of fun!

Spring Break in St. George

For Spring Break we went down to St. George, we Had lots of fun! We went from Saturday to Saturday, Shawn had to do some work down their too. Wyatt was Unable to come with us so Marissa brought one of her best friends, Alexis. Marissa and Alexis both swim on the swim team and so while we were down their they both went to swim practice with the DART team. they came home saying "That team is weird! They were Snorkels!"

This was Saturday night We ordered Pizza. Some Friends of ours from our ward were also down in St. George so they came over for Pizza.

Sunday night we made Smores on our campfire.

We took the girls (and Adam) the Brigham Young's Summer home.

The day Shawn went to work, we spent the whole thing at the pool. It was fun!

We went to To Zions on Wednesday and had a blast! we did the Emerald pools hike. We were just planing on doing the lower pools that is stroller friendly but got confused and and went to the middle pools. We don't recommend taking a stroller on that hike! (Thanks Heather for letting us use your stroller!)

On Thursday We took Olivia and Audrey to The temple and by it was a little water park/river.

Wyatt Turns 16!

Wyatt turned 16 on March 20Th! We went that day to go get his drivers licence that day a Monday.

He was so excited as you can tell.

For Wyatt's present he wanted to go down to California to see his cousins Ryan and Steven.

Wyatt Did Something Good

Wyatt, our son of 15 years, went to the region and sate DECA competitions recently (a marketing & business club he joined for extra-credit in his Business law class) and took first in region and 8th in state. I suppose we have raised him to do something right, tic.

Valentines Dance

Well I have finally gotten to writing a post.
The 7th of February was the school Valentines Dance/Junior Prom. I asked a girl named Becca Campbell. For the day activity we went and saw Taken at the Gateway (we were planning something much more involved, however it turned out to be a bust as my friend thought his mom said Layton, while she really said Lindon (Layton is 20 min. away, and Lindon is 1 hour and 15 min.) It was a good movie, very intense and climactic.

We went and ate dinner at my friend Britain Lopez's house, whose father is a state champion amateur chef. The dinner was wonderful, and everyone enjoyed it. Our group was a lot of fun. Once again, Jon Schmidt's son is on the right (just for you Chelsea haha.)

The dance was at the state fair park, at a building that was much nicer than anticipated, definately not the ghetto-trash horse barn the entire school envisioned. After the dance we came back to my house and mostly just chilled. It was a very fun evening.

Tubing at snow basin for Olivias 9th Birthday

For Olivia's 9Th birthday we went up to snow basin and went tubing at their tubing hill. It was so much fun! It was us and about 10 other people so we would go down the hill then hook up to the tow line and go up again with no wait.

Audrey loved it a lot we bought her a 1 ride pass and after she went down she jumped up and said "THAT WAS WICKED SWEET!" so after that we upgraded our passes to unlimited rides
